1.2 Contents of Usage

IThe following list primarily includes a series of personal data or information that may be disclosed by the individual and be collected by TWOR:

• Name
• Mailing (Residential or Work) Address
• Contact Numbers (Cell-phone, Residential or Work)
• Email Addresses
• Online Passwords, Personal Identification and/or Other Forms of Identifications
• Records or Archival Records of Communications with TWOR
• Payment Information via Credit Cards or Debit CardsName
• Future or Existing (if any) Responses to Market Surveys, Questionnaires, or Future Promotions by TWOR or its Agents or Associates.

1.3 Updating of Personal Data or Information

TWOR implements actions to ensure data or information are updated, accurate and correct whenever it comes across any changes to any information therein. TWOR may disregard data or information which may seemingly, from a reasonable standpoint, not be accurate or obsolete on basis of time line which may have lapsed from the time it was being solicited or collected.

2. HOW is TWOR IIPPP Implemented?

2.1 Disclosure of Personal Data or Information

TWOR only processes, uses and discloses all individuals’ personal data or information:

• for the sole purpose for which it was intended for
• whereby individual has given the consent
• where permitted under PDPA or other applicable law or as required by law
• for any purpose (s) based on what a reasonable person would have considered in similar situation.

TWOR shall not merchandise, sell or licence any personal data or information collected from individuals.

TWOR will not disclose such personal data or information unless otherwise individuals’ consents have been provided or if so required or allowed under PDPA or other applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.

2.2 Withdrawal of Personal Data or Information

An individual may withdraw his / her consent for the solicitation, collection, usage or disclosure of personal data or information by providing TWOR with a reasonable period of written notice or request via email to TWOR IIPPP officer at iippp@theworldofrubber.net. Upon receipt of the notice or request, TWOR shall notify, within a reasonable time line, of the possible or potential consequences (if any) as a result of the consent withdrawal. TWOR shall cease to collect, disclose or use the personal data or information unless otherwise allowed or required by PDPA or other applicable laws of regulatory framework.

3. WHERE to Locate TWOR IIPPP?

Using TWOR Webpage

TWOR records data or information of individual when he or she visits TWOR webpage located at www.theworldofrubber.net. Data or information recorded may encompass IP addresses, date and time of visits, URL, pages accessed, documents (files) downloaded, browser types, operating system (s), or the like.

TWOR webpage may contain links from and to other webpages. TWOR shall not be held accountable or responsible for the private practices and policies of other webpages. Every organization has its distinct policies and practices with primary referencing to PDPA.

TWOR utilises cookies which may collect and store individuals’ personal data or information. However, individual (s) may choose to disable the cookies in internet browser. In events of cookies disabling, individual (s) may resume the normal usage of TWOR webpage albeit some features may be impaired or compromised.

4. WHY TWOR IIPPP Is Secure In Reasonable Context?

4.1 Security of Individuals’ Personal Data or Information

TWOR undertakes reasonable steps to upkeep its IIPPP with a provision to ensure all personal data or information of individuals are securely stored.

All staff in TWOR have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement to ensure the IIPPP is practised throughout TWOR.

TWOR protects personal data or information from any misuse or loss by restricting the access of data or information in electronics format within applicable physical and virtual security.

TWOR implements reasonable actions to ensure all unsolicited data or information is destroyed to the soonest possible.

TWOR permits individual (s) with an option not to identify themselves when dealing with TWOR, where applicable.

4.2 Extra-Terrestrial Disclosure

TWOR’s overseas staff may be processing individuals’ data or information or by its appointed agents or associates. TWOR will take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas staff implements IIPPP and provide adequate data protection under PDPA.

4.3 Continual Usage of Personal Data or Information

If an individual may send a written request to iippp@theworldofrubber.net, in events of requests to be provided with data or information pertaining to individuals’ data and information which is in the possession of TWOR in which such data or information has been utilised or disclosed by TWOR in the preceding year.

TWOR shall handle such requests in a reasonable manner according to PDPA.

4.4 Sensitive Data and Information

TWOR shall not solicit or collect sensitive data or information without obtaining the consent from individual (s) unless otherwise it is reasonably deemed to be necessary and relevant for TWOR’s purposes of implementing, improving, upkeeping and developing a commercial relationship.

TWOR complies with all provisions pursuant to the DNC Registry under the PDPA.

TWOR reserves the right (s) to amend this IIPPP at any time. The duty of notice is on the individual (s) to stay apprised of any update (s) to IIPPP of which the current version of IIPPP will be published on TWOR webpage
